Arcedia Red Cross Drop Off Center - That's where we dropped all the donated supplies. Arcadia: Mobile Home of the elderly Sick couple (husband has Emphysema) Dave & I relocaded. The r. room is completely gone & The left of the mobile home is covered with two trees.
Haines City Florida: Thursday, August 19th 2004

United Way Dispached us to work in Haines City.
(and thanks for your help Dave...
I know you where staying out of the pictures on purpose).

The city sent us to clear a cemetery for the park district (above and to the left: before we got started in "our section")

All remaining supplies where left with the Florida Verterans (see background) to be handed out througout the following week.
Special thanks to all those Floridians who stopped by our stand and dropped off more donated supplies for us to hand out (they came all over - from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale).
And a word to the person who dropped of the cooler with Popsicles: You made a lot of children smile that day!

Not only hurricane victims (see family above) but also relief workers, firefighters, and other volunteers stopped for hotdogs & sodas, and supplies.
